It's my friend Ernie's 40th birthday today! Ernie has special needs and I haven't gotten to know him well enough yet to know exactly what he likes (besides coloring books and crayons), so I made him a personalized card. First I glued down a border of colored glitter, and then I wrote the "Happy Birthday" part in silver crayon. I used alphabet stickers to spell out Ernie's name, and then added the banana split, which was also a series of stickers. I only wish that I'd positioned the banana pieces closer to the top of the bowl, but I know Ernie will still like his birthday card a lot! :)
